Default What the heck is this?

(Not the keyboard....) It looks like it is used to pry something open, odd that they would go to the trouble of creating a special tool for this.

Default It's a "pry tool", used to pry open those seams in tight places
like under the dash to remove "little covers" that reveal screws, etc. You can use a plastic spackle tool found at Home Depot to do the same thing but this tool is more efficient.

Default AKA a "trim stick". A must-have for opening up your dash and such.
Or an equivalent object, as AA notes.
