What kind of cams are out there for the 40V?
 

I know that this probably should go in the 4.2L forums, but I wanted to see if anyone with an A8 has tried any cams at all.

How about a set of S8 cams and I GIAC chip

Reason I ask....
 

... is because I know that the original 3.6 V8 was just 2 VW 1.8s combined. It made me wonder if the 40V heads were similar enough to the 1.8T 20V heads and if any company fooled around with the 40V.

I can't seem to get the cam specs on either the A8 or S8 engine. Anyone know them?

What would it do if you install the S8 cams, would it Increase horse power and torque?? I allready have an ABT chip.
