The A8 is bigger and roomier, better handling and weighs about the same. I find it prettier to, but YMMV.
I would choose the A8 over the S6 every day too, as long as I get the sports-interior.

Biggest AWD car that's not too flashy...
I replaced my suv with the A8. I love every aspect of having an AWD and the handling of a car...A damn good car. I do miss the cargo capacity of the suv though. But I only used it once in a while. It doesn't suck up gas like a suv either. b

big yes, but it doesn't feel that way.
lots of room, less that the expedition it replaced.
better mpg
better handling
time for a change
good price (used)

can't fit 3 baby seats (don't have to trade cars with wife occationally) SUV came back dirty
