Default What type of headlight bulb for 97 A8?
I am in a process of purchasing Xenon kit and wanted to know what the OEM light bulb type is for 97 A8?

For low Beam - H1, fog - H3, High beam - HB3 (-)

Default OEM HID bulb size? Or OEM halogen bulb? I have a few extra bulbs of all stock A8 sizes, including...
... HIDs, haha.

I am not trying to sell them, I know a used bulb is mostly useless to many. I am just in awe of my pile of bulbs.

9 H1s
12 H3s
2 HIDs

Saving them for the next 50 years, lol.

You have HID's? Is it for A8?
What kalvin scale? Ballasts too?

Default Yes I have them installed currently. Stock euro units, osram euro bulbs.
This was a retro-fit into my 97 A8.

Thanks. H1, how is this different to D2S or D1S bulbs I see some people say it is interchangeable with H1?
