whats the differences between the SHAREWARE and Registered versions of ross-tech software??

whats the differences between the SHAREWARE and Registered versions of ross-tech software??
i'm thinking of getting the USB vag and getting the ross-tech software.. but ross-tech does not say registeration is a requirement... so what do you get for a registered copy?

No it's not you, it's them.. it is
rather complicated in my estimation to figure out upgrades for instance.
That's what I was trying to do.
After a FEW email exchanges with Linda, I think I'm okay now but man o man ... not user friendly. I dont know why they make it so hard to figure out.
