When the new S8 comes out, what do yout think it will do to D2 S8 values..
I assume they will down slightly, or maybe dealerships won't be able to get away with some of the crazy prices they are currently entertaining?

I'm a bit disappointed with the depreciation of the S8
I purchased a '02 S8 (Audi CPO) via private party for $43K in April 2005. The guy I purchased it from bought it in November 2004 for $54K via a dealer. Wholesale value of the car (Manheim) today is $33K. I've had the car listed for sale for 12 weeks and not a valid lead. WTF !

No, nor do I. I am refering to the autotraders and ebay'ers that still want the 48-55K for an '01. An '03 is still pretty much a new vehicle, so the price is more than reasonable.

Change in auto direction
Looking to go with a cheap daily driver and get a Boxster S for weekends. If anyone know someone who is in the market for an '02 S8 let me know. Thanks.
