Default The only place I see as of yet

is the Workshop Tools site from the Bentley. I have ordered from here before and the prices are "reasonable".

Just click the link below the password box to access the catalog. The online catalog is the third red tab on top.

The wrench 2012A is $44.

$44 isn't bad, but the actual mechanical problem isn't that intractable either... just need a wide-spreader 'grabber' to secure to the top of the fuel delivery assembly's cap in order to unscrew. We were able to do it without the special tool by improvising, without damaging the cap. We did it with a couple of screwdrivers and a large Channel-Lock pliers.

Default I thought I heard of some people doing that before...

But then I thought it was a PITA to do it that way. But if it works, that's cool!

Default Forgive me ignoramus - is the D2 not the same as the C4 whereby one can...

...simply reach in and employ the secret "Bra Strap Snap" (TM) to the 'clips' on the top sides of the pump basekt???

Allows you to remove solely the pump itself and leave the basket in the tank.

Maybe? Would save needing them thar special toolz.

Default WTF, the tool I need is discontinued.

Pleas explain how the lockin ring that holds the fuel delivery module can be removed with a couple of screwdrivers and a wrench. It looks like I don't have any other choice.

<a href="http://buy.equipmentsolutions.com/eqs_va/Net/ItemDetail.aspx?PartNo=3342&qty=1&Desc=UNI ON+NUT+WRENCH&ListPrice=&itemQty=-1&group_id=4&group_name=3&cat_ID=& cat_name=&sub_cat_ID=&sub_cat_name=&am

Default Here. Trust me it's easy. I did it 2000 miles from home on a parking lot.

This is the ring that needs to come out in order to remove and reinstall the fuel pump.
