Whining noise coming when turning the wheels when cold
I have a problem in the morning going out of the garage the power steering begin to make a whining noise when turning .i went to specialist and he informed that i have a bad power steering pump i checked the system for leaks but found nothing and the fluid container is full . any suggestions before changing the power steering pump . thank you

I would do an oil flush.
PaulW has a procedure for that on his audipages.com. New oil could prolong your servopumps life. Also it is important to not have full lock on your steering, no servopump likes that and it will tell you by whining.

you say its full of steering fluid, Theres an audi bulletin that says the little dipsticks MAX mark is not right, and causes cold start noise. Overfill steering fluid, obviously not to the very very top, but substantially over the MAX mark. Should fix it.
