Would a '94 S4 steering wheel w/ tip controls fit in my '97 A8?
I'd love to get tip buttons in my wheel, plus I love the 3 spoke design. What all would I need to make this work? I assume I will need the cancelling ring, but are the splines the same? I read somewhere that early Audi's have less splines and maybe a smaller shaft than later models. Anyone know anything about this?

It could work
You are right, you would need the steering wheel, new canceling ring and the shaft must match.
Then you would need to wire from your canceling ring to your shifter to get the rest to work.
Good luck, sounds great!
I love my stereo control buttons on my wheel...I wouldn't change them....but that's me.
