Blower Motor 2001 S8
The HVAC blower motor on my 2001 S8 is intermittently working. Sometimes it decides to come on when the car starts and sometimes not. Does anyone have experience? Is this likely a fan blower motor replacement or a blower motor resistor issue or just needs new brushes? The blower motor resistor seems to be about $500 and the fan itself ~ $300.

It's worth doing some searching, there are threads on doing the brushes or replacing the motor. The cost was not that high IIRC but the motor wiring came reversed and had to be corrected.
