"Interesting" new MMI quirk...
Yesterday my MMI started acting up a little. In order to activate the "voice" commands, I now have to 'double click" the steeting wheel button. Holding it now longer does the trick!
Since I am bringing he car in tomorrow for the MMI upgrade, I'll mention it then and see what is said.
Any comments?

IHMO, Audi did not put enough computer power in the A8 to handle the load...
...The nav system in my former A8 took forever to load upon startup and the MMI frequently became sluggish.

I have an 05 w/ bluetooth. How does the voice command work in these? What type of commands
does it take? I haven't had the chance of exploring this part of the car yet. TIA

It actually is pretty kool....
You can change radio stations, make a phone call, "navigate to" an address, etc.
Most of the data must be pre-stored, but there are some built-in functions, too.
If "she" can understand your voice commands, it really is a neat-o whistle (or is it a bell??)

Turns out to be a bad "button" on the steer wheel....
Dealer replaced it when he did the upgrade to 2007 software.
I'm going to pick up the car in a few hours will give a full report on the upgrade after that.
