Default 06 or 07 and TDI
Spoke to dealer sales mgr yesterday. he said no FSI engine for US in 07. Is there any reason to want a 07 over the 06 with limatations on sat radio and a end to 4yr/50 maintenance on the 07?
Also, If the Q7 is getting a TDI engine in 08 would the A8 see it at the same time?

Default I'd believe Liam before any sales manager...
Liam says 350 HP/FSI for the '07 A8 and I wouldn't bet against him no matter the odds.

Default FSI IS on the 2007...
And your dealer can see that by going into AIM and looking at the new model code for the 2007 A8L 4.2 (and A6 4.2). Regarding the diesel, just wait a few weeks when the official details are released.

My RS4 is a long way out since the interior has to be done by hand. I'm expecting delivery sometime late fall.
