Your vehicle is a 06 it did not come with RVC, and it did not come with TV option you state, as you have no TV tuner, again you state that, what happens when you push the CD/AUX button, do you see what's in the picture below ?

If you have no factory TV tuner and or no factory RVC, YOU HAVE NO MMI WITH FBAS VIDEO INPUT.

I'll modify my current Head Unit with the FBAS connector and add a few components on to existing circuit to get it working. I got the schematic.

I hate to guess what I have in my car, so I took off the glove box and yes, I don't want to install the old 907 729 A, I have the new software version one.




The screws for the Head Unit are too small, my T10 torx doesn't fit. Does anyone know what size it's supposed to be, T9 or T8?

I'm getting close. My camera controller won't be here until 2 weeks later, I'll have time to work with updating the circuit and connectors.

Until I opened the box, I can't tell how many things I need to replace. Hopefully since it's a new unit, not many, just the Fakra connector, if not,
approximately 25 components + an 24.576 Mhz oscillator.

The parts should cost less than $20.

So, I opened up the Head Unit today - T8 is needed to remove the torx screws. There is a whole circuit that needs to be populated, but it does cost less than buying a used up one.

the 24.576 MHZ only cost .87 at electronic store.





I ordered extra to make a few units.
