Well. VCP came in and did not find anything new as expected.

I can not find any information about the ignition supply.

My assumption is terminal 15.

1) Reason unknown, there is no terminal 15 voltage at fuze 9 at SB. Jump to fuse one for ignition supply to ABS.

2) The wire loom did have some issue.

3) After little touch up, ABS can be seen and the coding is 0000000.

4) Power steering okay, speedometer ok, odometer ok. Ride height all available.

5) The coding is hard to understand for VCP.
.

Park brake module still can not be seen yet.

I sent you a private message with a cumulative year's worth of troubleshooting of this same issue, plus an explanation and solution.

Am I the only one seeing the exposed wire in the first one? What's that to?

There are more peel off of insulators and very difficult to secure them completely. I am not going to hold breath on Audi anymore as this is clearly a time bomb sooner or later.

It it is too close to engine and the result is unpredictable in such critical component.

can anyone help me how do I know the type of transmission? I can not find any 01J/09E/09J on the pr code list.

thanks

1) Very likely the VCP knock off is not functional for off line coding.

Still studying but start checking VCDS now.

2) Difficult to understand that the park brake module has no communication but motor respond to the button.

Made another jump to the fuse 1 at SC and this reveals the park brake issue.

Yes, there are 2 codes need attention but at least all modules report duty to VCP.

Hopefully can open the brake manually after playing with open and close from VCP and it seems no longer open anymore.

Since the park brake got trouble code and the led on the button and dash always flashing. I have no choice to take the motor off to wing the piston back.

This is not hard but trouble came in while set the motor back. Either the seal is too tight or the shaft of motor did not align with the receptacle while force two screws back. The housing of motor cracked.

Right now, the park brake is still reported as malfunction due to hall sensor n the passenger side.

Ordered new parking assist buzzer but take a step forward by repairing it. Code is gone and parktronic is working now.

The last three codes persitantly challenge my patience.

Really runnng of gas after taking of wheels again.

Both front pad wear sensors have continuity. Cleaned by contact cleaner.

Right rear park brake motor spined once without load ( off the caliber) under basic setting. Then again, not response to VCP.

Only basic settings no 6, 10 responding. Neither 5 nor 7 accept the reading command.

Left rear not checked yet as running out of time.

Code changed too. The hall sensor issue is gone.
