06 AUDI A8- ACCIDENT;AIRBAGS DEPLYED; CAR WILL NOT START**IS THEIR A WAY TO OVERRIDE COMPUTER?**
I was in an accident with a loaner A8 that I had. The damage is to the rear passenger door and the passenger side airbags deployed. The car can be driven but the engine will not start due to the airbags being deployed. Is there a way to override the computer system so the car will start? Please help! Thanks.

Ok #1...no need to "shout"...
#2, the battery disconnect pyrotechnic device probably activated. Check the positive terminal in the trunk and see what the condition is. There is no ecu related code to keep the engine from running if the airbags deploy.

Re: The main systems have power correct?
i wil try that tomorrow. Yea the interior lights work and everything. Should the screen still work because i believe it does. Also now that the airbags are out, how can they be deflated? Should i just pop them? Thanks.
