15000 mile service
 

Last week the car had first service.

All brake pads needed replacing, and all 4 tyres, didn't have those done tho, look fine to me.

And how much for this service, £850 quid, 0.056 pence per mile, not too bad.

Anyone else thrashing their car? Loving it.

Why did it cost you? No free MA in EuroLand?

Only hope Clear Channel is the lease holder. :)

In my country they offer something called "We Care"
 

You pay a monthly fee, based on how many years you want to use your car. All the maintenance is included except for tires.

So "We Care" and highest insurance make sure that whatever happens to the car, you don't pay any more money, at any given time. From the very start you know what it's going to cost you, all included (except for tires and fuel ofcourse). So I went for that.

See, Audi cares ;-)

I've read about some sort of extended garantee in the US. Is this the same?

New Cars-4 years or 50K miles...free everything...in the USA...
 

excludes tyres, but includes everything else for free...brakes, windshield wipers, scheduled MA's, etc.

Of course, nothing is really FREE. It's in the price somewhere !! :>)

Ah the beast can take the abuse, been thrasing it for the past year, and it just comes back for more...just annoyed that these Continental RE040's are 190 pounds a piece. Oh the price we pay for fun.

Nope, but for £500 on a new car you can buy a service & maintenance package
 

Covers servicing costs for everything apart from "regular consumables" like tyres and brake pads/discs for 5 years. I guess the profit margin in tyres, pads and discs is enough to keep my service manager smiling!
