Default 2 Questions - Bluetooth Phone and Whats this box?

Hi All,

I just wondered if anyone can help me with 2 questions i have.

1st

I have tried to pair my iphone to my Audi A8 (2005) It has the bluetooth base station in the car as there is a Motorola phone int he center console which connects and works if i put a simcard in the center console. I thought it would be possible to sync / pair my iphone with the car instead, is this possible if so how do i do it?

2nd

There is a box in the rear left of the boot, see attached pics, I cant for the life of me work out what it is, i thought it might be either a tv module or the nav module. The reason i think it isnt the nav module is because the nav with dvd slot is sat above it. Can anyone advise what it is please?

Thanks for the help

You have the pair soon after startup because the BT module is only discoverable for a couple of minutes.
It should show up as AUDI UHV XXXX. PIN is 1234 by default

I think the mystery box is the stereo.

It sounds like you may still have a car with OnStar instead of the phone Bluetooth. If so, you need to get a BMW bluetooth adapter module to put in in place of the Motorola phone. Once you do that, you can pair your iPhone. The Bluetooth adapter for the Audi Music Interface works with music only, not the phone part.

Do you have OnStar buttons on your sealing? If not you have Bluetooth.

Box is your radio.
