Easy enough to check if the water pump is leaking. The timing cover comes off easily and you can look right at the pump. If it is leaking from the shaft or could be, I wouldn't even start the car again. If it fails, which is imminent if it's leaking, and seizes, you will lose timing and the engine will do it's best impression of tossing a grenade in a fridge. Replacing the water pump, rollers, tensioners, timing belt, and thermostat should all be done at once.
