Default 2006 Audi A8 Ride Height

Hello, I just bought a 2006 Audi A8 with the 4.2L engine. The previous owner "lowered" the car by putting lowering links or/and VAG COM software adjustments. He does not have the factory links. Can I get the height back to factory heights using the lowered links and VAGCOM?

You should have asked the owner to revert it back to original if you don't like the ride or the look... Should you wonder why he sold the car lowered like that?

Cheers and good luck,
Louis

Factory heights from wheel center to the lower edge of the fender:
Audi A8 D3 standard suspension: 416 mm (front) 398 mm (rear)

You can re-adapt the default ride height if you have vcds.

I liked the look, however my wife did not. The seller is 25 years old and I guess they like it that way. hank you.

Thank you, I found a video on you tube that will be a good reference when I get my software.

Just be careful, make sure the USB port is not loose, serial signals are good.
Yeah, I remembered got the cheapest cars, lowered them, changed mufflers to sound better or not... wasted time and money... but then, it’s all mechanical, now, it’s all electronics... if you break it, it’s costly and people ended up passing the walking wounded cars from One to another.
Yes, it was many years ago, when I was young and not very experienced.
Cheers,
Louis

Can I re-adapt to the factory ride height with the lowered links and VCDS software, or do I need to go buy a set of the factory links and replace lowered links with factory links and then make software adjustments?
If I need factory links, do you know of an inexpensive source?

It should be able to adapt to the lowering links.
