2007 S8 - B&O system
I put a deposit on a 2007 S8 last week. Although my dealer had zero information, Audi told me to go their website, choose Europe and then German. Click the A8 link, then the S8 link. Great presentation. You will be able to build the car on this website first, so I'll keep checking back.
The people at B&O have also emailed me a few times re: the new system for the A8/S8. They will have both cars at the NY Auto show for viewing. They have agreed to let me come early and give the sound system a real test. I'll keep the forum posted!

I'm also planning to take delivery of the S8 in October (1st on my dealer list) and wouldn't mind hearing the B&O prior to spec'ing the car out.
I'll be attending the NYAS during Press Day so keep me posted and maybe I'll join you at the Audi Booth.

Actually, I was planning on Friday, but I've got a rep from Audi and b/o trying to get me in earlier. What's the deal w/thursday? I'm only going to see this car...

Thursday is Press Day (in addition to Wednesday) and also "Dealer" Day. The show doesn't open to the public prior to Friday. If you can go on Thursday I highly recommend it.

Wish I did. As you can imagine I get asked that question quite often. They've become more strict as to who is allowed to have these passes.
If the dealer is taking you, you should be in good shape though...
