Small backstory, been a Lexus fan my whole life (22 years), never been a German car fan except for Audi, I'd take any generation s4 over a c63 amg.

So I never really looked into an S8 till my dad started getting curious about one for himself so i looked into it and was hella surprised I that I hadn't heard much about it till now. It's a beast of a car, beats a 4.2 R8 to 60. But I haven't seen much in terms of long term tests, regarding reliability, tire wear, other maintenance, etc. These are things that can add up on the financial side of things...
