a2dp bluetooth in an a8 ?
Sigh.
This is probably a very dumb question, considering that the $85k car I own won't even play an mp3 encoded CD.
But just for laughs, does anyone know if there is any way to play audio, over bluetooth, using a2dp ? I guess there was an a6 avant that did this at some point ... and I'm willing to buy some hardware to make it happen ... just curious.
It would be very nice to play music over bluetooth from my phone.
Although, on the other hand, I would be happy if my 2006 a8 could even match the digital audio capabilities of a 1998 ford ranger. That would be enough for me.
But it doesn't.

heh. Like I said, a dumb question.
The a8 audio functionality is _horrific_.
I feel like I'm on some hidden camera spoof show, and any moment now they'll come on with the laugh track and say "we actually got him to believe that a $85k MY2006 car couldn't even play a mp3 encoded CD ... ha ha ha"
But it's not a spoof show. It's real.
