I am currently attempting such a conversion. Initially the dealer told me I only need to get the grill, bumper and grills around the lights in the bumper. I had to wait a week for the parts to arrive from Germany. On arrival, they went to the panel beater for spray painting. Once that was finished, the car was sent for the fitting of the grill, bumper etc. After two days, they informed me that the grill does not fit and the bonnet (hood) and lights will have to be replaced as well. I don't know if I'm going to pursue the project any further. The initial costs would have been the equivalent of $2000, but with the lights and bonnet having to be replaced as well, this is going to increase to $5700. Don't know if it's worth that amount (and I am not even sure that there will not be other parts that will require replacement as well).

Default Re: Did you check into lltek?

Did you look into lltek's kit to see what is the difference? I too may be interested in such a swap if it could be done?

http://lltek.com/hfl_a8_d3.htm</a
