Great!!! Thank you! I didn't see this in time for this one (someone is putting it in for me at the moment), but I am sure it will be very helpful in the future.

I bought this car 40k or so miles ago in part because I got a heavy discount from the original owner (my older brother), otherwise a grad student with a net worth far into the negatives (student loans) should perhaps consider something less expensive to repair.
... ahhhh but this car and I, it was LOVE at first sight ... it has been very kind to me actually for the 40k or so miles I have driven it. This is the first thing to break on me. So all in all really can't complain at these mileages.

Yeah, this car lures you in with that smooth sweet ride, luxury interior, handling, power under the hood and the dozens of little features that make it such a pleasure to drive. You didn't say how many miles total you have, or what year the car is, but there is another post out there at the moment related to the air suspension ("2004 A8 Air Ride") with some great advice about maintenance, parts quality and being prepared (financially) to maintain it....well worth the read.

I NEED help with my blower motor not working on 2008 A6. Checked all fuses and they are good. Took out blower motor and hooked up to 12 V and blower motor runs. Purchased new resistor for $48.00 but did not help. Notice that resistors for this blower sell from 48 to $300. for this blower? Is there a real difference in these resistors? Should I buy a different resistor or should I check for something else? any suggestions?
Thank you
Thank you
