Keys locked in trunk but I know the trunk shouldn't lock with keys in it. I'm wondering if there is a setting that I need to adjust or is it just a fault of some kind?

I know that isn't supposed to happen, low key battery maybe? Or some item in the trunk interfering with the signal?

That crossed my mind. I will give that a try. I guess I need to search and make sure there aren't special procedures required for changing a battery

I know in my Q5, If someone else has their key fob on them outside the car, you can lock the other one in the car. My wife leaves her purse in the car all the time with her key fob. As long as I have mine, I can lock it and it won't open if you try to unlock the car unless my fob is in range. When you locked the car was there another key fob in the area?
