Default After 2 Weeks At Dealer Air Bag Light Still Not Fixed!!!!

My car has been at dealer for 2 weeks for airbag light, they apparently replaced the airbag harness connections throughout the whole car, after stripping the car down to bare metal, they still had airbag light on, so supposedly "side bolster airbag on driver side seat was bad" they apparently moved the airbag over to passenger side, and fault code was now on passenger side.

Yes, electrically for sure. Mechanically as well as the module has the same part number for right and left side.

I'm not a smart man, but if the problem moves with the part I'd replace it.

Did they replace the knee air bag harnesses? Also, there's a dedicated procedure for disconnecting the car battery before disconnecting air bag connections. Was it followed? Often overlooked. If this is a CPO car, you have the right to bring it to another dealer. Also, have you engaged the Audi A8 advocate team?

they probably didnt follow correct procedure, no its not a CPO and its out of warranty, the wholesaler that originally sold me the car is paying for the work.

And yes i contacted A8 Advocate team, although this issue has been ongoing since before the factory warranty expired, Audi said unfortunately the car is now out of warranty.

C'mon, this is an Audi DEALER??? They can't be that stupid. I had a steering wheel, knee bag and seatbelt fault when I rebuilt my car after the accident, and I did not go replacing any stuff that the computer did't have a problem with. I simply replaced the bags and seatbelt and guess what? All codes were gone. If they saw that the driver bolster bag was giving them the error, why the hell didn't they look at that first? With VAGCOM, you will get the exact item that has the problem. They may be super smart when it comes to fixing some stuff, but their diagnostic skills suck.
