took me awhile to find out what they are actually called but they are the lights that project directly downward, underneath the side mirrors. they look like 3 little LEDs.
thought there might be some cool aftermarket light kit for this.
this is to show the location. i couldn't find an exact one of an Audi S8 although they are clearly visible when you look at the mirrors

I really cannot ever remember seeing a thread mentioning modding these and most people here turn up their noses at (what would probably be termed as) pointless customisations to the A8.

putting a luxury car on the ground and using chromed washing machine tubs for wheels ? You see, 'pointless' is one of those point-of-view-type adjectives; and one that should be politely omitted in discourse taking place in what supposed be a forum for everyone's ideas. So, I don't profess to know what most people here do or do not turn their noses up at; but I'll go on record to say you don't speak for me.
And I can only hope that this will not have a chilling effect on the OP, who only just joined us in April !! There's room here for all proclivities as far as I am concerned.

Sorry Awdinut if you felt I was speaking for you but I'm just calling it as I see it. that a lot of people on here turn their noses up and question peoples motives for doing mods ehich I feel to 'them is pointless or just horrible. Me personally couldn't care less if anyone slammed their car and painted it pink. orange stripes.
