The retainer ring on the hose that comes out of the air filter box to the smog pump has failed. All the ears have broken off.
Looked on www.audiusaparts. Com and see it listed for 93.00. Is there an aftermarket source? Like many items, this looks like a 15 - 20 items that lists for 125.000.

Classic thing to check for on eBay--both .com (U.S.) and .de and other Euro ones. If you search by part # and check the description search box for Euro searches, you can often overcome some of the "auf Deutsch" language barriers.
