Default Air pump repair

Bought a car that had a leak in the front suspension and i am going to assume they let the pump run trying to compensate. I cannot hear the pump working at all when the ignition is on, i have not checked the fuse yet or anything. I was wondering if the fuses and everything are ok but the pump doesnt turn on, does it need to be replaced or can i use one of those rebuild kits to fix it?

You should check the fuse and the relay, if left to run on and on the relay is most likely fried, if you replace the fuse and relay and power is going to the pump motor, but pump motor fails to run, the rebuild kit will not help you, as it is a rebuild kit for the piston of compressor.

1. Are you getting any warning lights on the dash?
2. Can you select any higher suspension settings on the HMI?
3. Are you getting any fault codes on VCDS?

There is a temp sensor integral to the pump that when tripped, prevents the pump from running. It does not necessarily indicate on the dash, but higher settings will be grayed out.

I have both green and yellow lights on and front end is all the way down. I can usually select all but jack mode but sometimes i cant change at all. I cant remember the codes that came up but i dont recall anything with the pump or anything like that. If the temp sensor is tripped can it be reset?

Check the fuses and the relay and they looked ok relay is not stuck. There is a alittle burnt look on the inside of the housing I'm assuming from making contact and arching. Not sure if it's normal though but I attached a picture.
