I have no experience at all! I have neither used Elsawin on anything or Alldata on a tablet/phone.

I use alldata on my mac, but don't see why it can't work on a tablet. It is decent for most things on D3, though not as comprehensive as Bentley. (Much spottier on D4 so far BTW for anyone curious). But as you probably know, Bentley requires XP. Bentley is on my old Sony small laptop, along with VCDS and almost nothing else--stripped down home shop computer basically, using an obsolete laptop that still boots up and runs.

I have one big issue with Alldata, and that's any shop that uses it will do something wrong on your car. Anytime the car has to go on a lift, the instructions state to put the car in 'lift' mode, not jack mode. Big difference on these cars.

I didn't know that Alldata said that. I'll let people know to make sure its in JACK from now on since most of the usual shops have Alldata. The only shop I made sure knew what mode was Walmart when they installed my tires, as I didn't trust the idiots working there. I pulled out the owners manual, showed them the mode documentation, and showed them where to access it in the settings. Hah
