Another oil leak thread, but doesn't match anything I've seen.
I have an 07 S8 that is amazingly clean for a Minnesota car. However, it has a slight oil leak that doesn't look like anything I've seen here or on Google.
There no burning smell like it's dripping on the exhaust, nor does it smell like it's being burned internally. It's not enough to drip on the garage floor yet, but I did get the low oil warning on a recent trip; filled up and got another warning about 150 miles later, filled back up and it was getting low again 70 miles after that. I know where the usual culprits show signs but I haven't seen this one before.
These photos are taken aft of the engine, basically right in line with the front wheels. Some of the oil looks old and black and dirty on like it's been there a while. But as you can see, some looks fresh.
Any ideas?

You mean amazingly dirty (environmentally) for an S8. That thing should be parked until repaired as you are a personal version of the Exxon Valdez
That much oil, which is washed directly into waterways btw, is a lot, basically a quart on the ground every 2 or hours of operation.
