My mode button has been jammed in since I first bought the car. It works but only if I click on the top of it. Is there a way to get in there to fix it? It also show up on a vcds scan as a jammed button

On my C5 4.2, they sold the buttons as a separate piece part. Somewhat pricy but I was able to replace it that way. D3 ones are more clearly off on one spoke, while C5 ones were close in with th airbag module. You would need to look for it on a true Audi parts diagram--not the training wheels cartoon stuff that most on line dealers have. Use/sites covered in (only) D3 board sticky.
