Default Audi 2006 A8 quattro

My car button on my MMI does not work at all Any suggestions what I can do to fix it? Do not want to bring it to Audi Dealer Too pricy

Remove ashtray, remove Torx screw, pull trim off, and remove MMI panel. Look for dirt, damage, or broken wiring.

+1. And/or scan with VCDS and look for codes suggesting what issue may be--control panel/the button itself is a likely guess.

Try to find whether there any sticky button. Mine has jammed button on radio and cd. When button not pop up after pressing. No response from any other buttons.
