Default Audi A8L Brake Issues

Having to replace front brakes and rotors every 7,500 miles on my 2017 A8L. Dealer says due to rust and not driving the car "aggressively" every week. Really? Is that normal? I don't recall reading that warning in the Owner's Manual.

That is a ridiculous assertion, even the most conservative driving won't harm your brakes. Rust doesn't make sense either, unless you are spraying your rotors with a hose every night. If you don't drive aggressively, the only thing I can think of is if you drive with both feet and are unknowingly riding the brakes as you drive.

2017 is a D4; you might search / post there and get some more relevant feedback. But I concur with what what he^^ said; that is absolutely absurd! Either the $tealer is trying to meet a quota, you pi$sed them off and they hate you, you're a "troll" or... well, those are about the only explanations I can see.
