Default Audi Advantage

Ok so someone please help me get this straight. I understand that Audi is dropping the free scheduled maintenance for MY 2007 and it will become a $550 dollar option. If I buy a 2006 now, will I still get four free years maintenance through 2010, or will I get until the end of this year and all free maintenance will cease on Jan. 1, 2007? Will MY 2007 cars that are purchased mid- or late- 06 be ineligible? Does it go by model year or date of purchase? $550 seems low to me, I would imagine most Audis require over $550 worth of service during the first four years. However, it seems uncharacteristic of AoA to spin something like this in our favor instead of theirs. Any thoughts? Thank you!

The $550 only covers scheduled maintenance(basically oil changes and check this, check that). Wear items such as brakes, disks and other such items are not covered.
I currently have a 2004 allroad that's being returned in May and I had to pay $360(at the beginning of Marc) to replace rear discs at 23,500 miles!

I thought '04's covered brake issues for first 4/YR or 50K?

Default If they are out of wear limits you're correct...

Otherwise they ARE covered on 2004 & 2005.

Default If you go too long before replacement...

and the discs are worn past the minimum thickness, they are not covered.
