Audi gas conversion?

Re: Audi gas conversion?
Sure no worries.
My email has changed recently (6 months ago).
I originally looked for a 3.0 TDI or a 4.0 TDI A8 due to fuel economy, but they were all bog spec. I came across this one with the 4.2V8 engine and it was such a peach I had to have it. I then decided to get it converted to gas. There are lots of kits out there, and alot of them are extremely poor. Power loss and very greedy, poor injectors and poor software. After alot of research I decided on the BRC Sequential Injection system which has a complete set of new injectors, fantastic software and state of the art ECU.
I used a company called CLS Dual Fuel (www.agpl.co.uk). Gary is very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job.
The car has now done 35k on gas and no problems at all to report. No loss of power.
I love the lines of the A8 and didn't want an awful Autogas fuel cap on there side, so mine was hidden into the bumper.
Few pics for you. What would you like to know in particular?

Re: Audi gas conversion?
Conversion cost, miles per galion, how much space does fuel tank take up in trunk, does it still run on gas also, driving range on natural gas?

Re: Audi gas conversion?
£2100 converted.
MPG ranges on driving. Get approximately 300 miles to £30 of LPG @ 52p per litre. Space takes entire spare wheel in the trunk, though normal boot is unaffected. Runs on petrol whilst warming up for 1 mile before automatically switching to gas.
Can't remember my A8 Doc password!
