I think this might be the issue I am having, my battery discharges within 3 days if the car is not used and it's only 6 months old. I checked VCDS and I have version 0510, is 0590 the latest version? They said that the part number for it has been superseded.
I rang my local dealer and told them I have an old version that requires updating but they want to perform a diagnostic before they will do any update which is £60 and then they may perform the update if they think it's required which they can't tell me how much it will be until they perform the diagnostic. Is there anything I should say that might get them to just perform the update I want them to?
