I'm having custom wheels cut, help me pick the perfect offset?
I'll be running a 285/30/21 Continental DW tire and a 21x10.5" wheel using a square setup. I could do a 10" wheel as well but I feel the 10.5" will stretch the sidewall a touch. This'll give me the rounded shoulder that helps make the stance perfect. I want to be pretty much flush with the fender or just a bit inside of it. I also will be putting the lowering links on the car to remove the wheel well gap. My thoughts are the perfect offset should be somewhere between 25 and 32? Do I need to run different offsets for caliper clearance from front to rear?
I currently have 20x9 Forged Sportec Mono 10's with a 35mm offset, they have plenty of caliper clearance and sit well inside the fender lip.
