Is just loose of time to explain why and how. Use this time to improve the sound of your car. FOR OTHER USERS PLEASE STAY AWAY WITH YOUR COMENTS IF YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN PROJECT.
Ok now....I'm user/owner of one A8L equipped with bose sound. My personal opinion:
PRO
-Is loud enough
-Subs are ok.
Surround ok(but i'm not interestid in)
Cons:
Hi's are terrible (saturated if you try too increase )
Staging: far away
Radio(analog) is a **** is impossible to listen(maybe my unit is faulty-is"scratching" the sound like a broken speaker)

I think the fast and easy improvement will be only changing of the speaker with same size aftermarket units.

The problems which I'm facing are:
-Unknown size of speaker (including magnet space , thickness )
-unknown impendence
Unknown replacing procedures.

I did sound upgrades in the past for all owned cars but the best real gain was from replacing the stock speakers. I replace even Clarion stock equipped units and result was grate. Bose brand is not scare me is just a cheap equipment installed in a expensive car. I saw on ebay some pictures with A8 front dash speakers (you can google yourself) paper one regular speaker no twitter included-full range What expectations shoul I have from that.

If someone did any speaker upgrade please post here all useful information, pictures procedures……. So others cen use

Low profile, some weird shapes/sizes.

If you have few hundred posts and few car pictures on profile, active on the forum that not means you are helping more then me.
Do not start with assumptions because you do not know me and you do not know how much I help. You know for sure that I do not help on this forum witch is true. What I was requested from users is to stay away with comments like: Why to upgrade bose -is good sound system it sound cool....I 'm really tired of this like I'm tired to explain myself now. If I want to upgrade my soud, where is the problem? Who ask their opinion that I'm wrong upgradeing it?? Why I should read pages of ****s till I finally find a real topic information. Actually this is the problem on all forums not only here.
I do not understand why you feel offended because I request on topic info. I think will be more constructive if you can help me and other offering that information’s In the case that you have them.
Do not worried if I will not get them from here I will solve the problem very easy myself I will make the step by step pictures data…..materials…..and voala: useful post on the topic instead of hundred’s of explinations and opinions.
