Hey guys,

I just picked up a 2007 Audi A8L with 88k. Just this weekend I had the air leveling lights come on. Today I poked around and read up on the forums here how to troubleshoot the air suspension. I took of the air line from the compressor and it was working but zero air was coming out. I removed the compressor and noticed that the exhaust solenoid valve was missing. Not sure how it happened but I guess it had fallen out while driving.

Does anyone have their old burned out/broken compressor laying around that would be willing to send me that piece? I would pay for shipping + some money if someone has that exhaust valve.

Don't want to buy a new compressor just for that piece.

Read the sticky at the top of the D3 thread. There are dozens of threads about the WABCO ECAS (Electronically Controlled Air Suspension) compressor.

WABCO Quality. If the insert came out; odds are that the retaining boss is partially missing or damaged and the piece will not stay in place.

Time for a replacement compressor from either a dealer or Arnott. They are an authorized service parts distributor for WABCO ECAS compressors.
