I have the BTUM in my 04 A8 and it has been working fine up until yesterday. Now it is always on like I’m making a call. If I use the steering wheel control it will turn off and then right back on and I can no longer use the voice controls. It will work if I make a call for the phone or receive a call, but as long as the puck is installed my radio is muted like I’m on a call. Any help would be appreciated

I had that problem for a while. It had to do with the BT stack in my phone telling the puck to go "off hook". I finally traced it to my phone being in "discoverable" or "visible" mode, and every time it sensed another BT device (in a passing car, etc.), it would activate the puck. Turn off your phone and see if the problem persists. If not, I bet you have a similar problem to mine. This happened to me with my Samsung BlackJack II.

After a lot of searching, I’ve discovered that it's my Verizon Tour. I took out the battery and let the phone reset and it's working again. I thinks there is a new software version the may help as well.
