Default A/C Refrigerant and PAG oil

I finally need to top up my A/C system and I am concerned about buying the correct R-134a (with/without additives) and also get rid of the slight groaning of the compressor with the correct PAG oil. So I wanted to check in with you all to get some opinions on if its best to go with pure R-134a supplied via DuPont, or should I go with an auto store brand with who knows how many additives? Lastly, I wanted to check and see if anyone knew the PAG oil type which goes into our systems. The Audi part number is G052154A2 with some websites claiming it is PAG 46. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks.

Maybe boom goes the compressor...

Have a shop do it to get the correct fill by weight. No magic to Audis relative to others, but the home brew can stuff is a good/bad way to overfill system.

If you are still headed that way nonetheless, I wouldn't assume you just add more oil either. Oil should generally stay behind in system unless parts (compressor, etc.) swapped out--from what I understand and have dealt with a few times on other car makes.
