...Had been driving around with my wife doing some shopping this afternoon. Dropped her off and stayed in car listening to radio for about 8-minutes with engine off. When my wife returned, I depressed the ignition button, car started, then stalled with the tranny gear indicator panel changing to red backlighting. The battery indicator also stayed lit. Re-tried the ignition with same result. Hit it a third time and normal start with tranny gear indicator panel changing from red backlighting to normal.

Remembered that this happened to me once before about 6-months ago---but needed only one re-try on that occasion. Car performed normally after that. Wonder what the heck was going on?

I'll stop by the dealer next Saturday and have them check it out along w/my squeeky front seat.

It should have thrown a code in the TCU from experience.
