chasing w12 CEL
Cleared all causes of CELs but this one....Cant find any vacuum leaks but something is amiss.....any hints ?

Are you sure the air pump for that side (US driver's) is spinning up when cold? Since there are two of them that is, one for each side. For pump (or combi valve), I would expect codes for both banks 3 and 4, but worth checking to be sure.
IIRC you can spin them up via VCDS for basic functional test. Been too long though, so you would have to look up how to do that.
