Default The Codes are back!

Okay, so the dreaded codes have returned, only about 200 miles since the throttle body and PCV were replaced. Thought all was good considering 200 miles was the farthest I've gone without codes since I bought the car three years ago. I am at a lost at this point. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

So here is what has been done so far:
New Throttle body (me)
New PCV (me)
New Spark Plugs (me)
New Oil (me)
New Oil filter (me)
New Air filter (noticed the hose on the bottom of air filter housing will not secure properly)
New B1 S1 sensor (by Audi)
New B2 S1 sensor (me)
ABS control module (by Audi)
Plenum cleaning (me)

I’ve also been noticing an erratic fuel gauge every time I start the vehicle and while driving. For instance, I would be at 3/4 (325 mi til empty) of fuel. While driving a short 5 miles or so it will drop to less than 3/4 (290 mi til empty). Could this be the fuel pumps going out. And could that cause the other three fault codes I get?

So, the gauge is reading fine, but the calculations for fuel economy are off? From what I recall, it uses a sort of baseline to start with what it thinks you can do, and as you drive, it adjusts based off of your driving style. It also seems the baseline favors freeway travel, as if it expects you to go on a road trip.

Yes It usually does that. But this feels slightly different. Sorry It’s difficult for me to explain.

Well, if the only symptom is your fuel economy calculations, that itself sounds normal. Is your actual fuel economy any different than normal, as calculated tank to tank?

Did a fuel level adaptation reset. Seems to be working fine now. Except the fuel economy is sucking. Bad. There is something seriously wrong with the fuel consumption. So I went back through again searching for air vac leakage. Nothing. Should I try checking something else?

How are you determining the fuel economy is bad? Do you have any errors in the car? Is it up to date on filters and spark plugs?

Did not change the fuel filter yet. List of what was change in initial thread. The codes I keep getting are sporadic. I get the usual codes mention in this original thread. Then I get the occasional O2 sensor trouble code. B2S1 then B1S1, never at the same time. The engine begins to idle roughly after clearing the codes and driving about 20 to 50 miles. At initial start up the engine rpm shoots up erratically and does not go back down to normal until I clear the codes again. Just to drive another est 20mi. then it does it again. This coupled with a full tank of fuel on Monday, drive a little over 30 miles by Wednesday and be at half a tank. But this only happens when the codes pop up. When the codes don’t show, the car idle and drives perfectly fine.

So every time I start the car. The RPMs go through the roof! Please! Any suggestions on what to check next? Please.

Could problems with the intake manifold actuators cause the faults I'm getting? I noticed one of them not fully inflating when off or deflating when reving.
