Considering all of my problems, and high mileage on my 05, I’m thinking about tackling this 2012 with 103k miles for 18,000. I believe it should not be near 18,00, so I would try to bargain. But would that be a good option?

Instead of bargaining a bad one, make sure to get a good one with everything working. When you found a perfect working one, then you'll be happy without bargaining because the good ones, they seldom bargaining too much.
