Default Console by gear shifter light wont turn off! Help!

I have a parasitic battery drain on my 2007 a8l and seems to be because the center console lights around the gear shifter stay on all even after all other lights go into sleep mode. I did have a water leak which fried my amp but even after I replaced the amp, I still have this drain. Anyone know which fuse controls the center console or have any ideas on how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance!

Hate to bump such an old thread, but i have the same exact issue on my 2010 D3 A8L. Did you find a solution to the problem?

Have to ask, does the light go out after say 10-30 minutes? Mine does this and I believe there is an intentional long delay on the lights around the shifter. Not sure why, but believe the car was designed this way.

+1 Mine stay on for a while sometimes, but do eventually turn off. It’s never caused any issues, so I’ve just ignored it. I’m not sure what triggers the condition though. Seems to happen randomly.
