I purchased the Bufkin pipe. Hope never need it. Never used the Bar Stop Leak either. Used to add a little water pump lube back when antifreeze was not "lifetime" service interval.
Using it seems like my way of fixing an issue, not yours. The method shown in the pictures looks tough.

I red that o-ring is leaking, though I saw a picture of a broken plastic pipe too, but I believe it was broken in the process. I thought that if it is only o-ring some "liquid aluminum" should seal it and it did right away. Compared to taking apart half of a car, lower half ...

I love her, but I love myself too.

Edit: I have aluminum pipe with four o-rings. Just in case.

I used this one. Just followed instructions on it. Not sure how proper it is but it worked (for now).

Default Dreaded coolant leak

Yes indeed, used the aluminum seal and it stoped the leak right away. Has been going strong. I also have the metal replacement just in case.

Hi I'm trying to remove those exhaust studs to move coolant pipe up to clear oil cooler. I'm not having any luck. I tried to lock two nuts together and then remove them with a deep well but they don't loxk together the just spin off together. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance

Guy who did it (search) welded nut to the stud. But I think that all that is mistake. We are talking about $10K vehicles here. So some stop leak is the way.
