Cradle & BMW puck
Search returned number of results but no luck with basic stuff: how to make it work for the first time. Blue light is on, phone pairs with the puck and ... nothing. I checked telephone in Installed list using VCDS and set Motorola phone in hidden menu. When I press Phone button it says: Phone not installed. Software is 4610. Any help?

The puck emulates the Motorola phone. Do you know if your car ever worked with the V60 phone? It may require some sort of MMI activation to recognize that there is a phone connected. Mine had been used with the phone, so it worked fine as soon as I dropped in the puck (after changing the cradle to the "B" model).

Rumor has it, the BMW puck doesn't work with the newer 3G and 4G phones. I was unable to pair my Android phone with it, for example, though the puck worked fine with three or four prior phones.

I have some improvement. Can receive a call by pushing steering wheel button and caller can hear me. I can't hear him. If I make a call from my iPhone radio would mute for as long as I do not hang up, they can hear me, but I can't hear anything. I am not getting anything on MMI display. I tried Hidden Menu settings. Not sure which phone to choose. If I set Onstar I get a bunch of useless commands under Phone, but nothing works. If I set Motorola Phone button gives me "Phone is not installed" message. Phone "works" same in both cases.
I found few relevant treads around and some of regulars here participating. Can you guys refresh your memories and give some input here?
