Ooh... I don't have two of the features mentioned:

1) My wipers don't do the drying wipe after washing.

2) I don't recall seeing an option to automatically drop the rear blind when reverse is selected.

Can I code these using VCDS?

Great list, thanks for posting!

From the OP item #4. More details :

You can SYNC the AC controls and make either the passenger or driver's side be the Master controller by pressing the side you want to be the master for 3 seconds and the SYNC indicator will turn on. .

Once you turn the one that is not the master, the SYNC indicator will turn off.

Cool, I did not know that. Thanks!
I wonder if the rear controls sync all? I doubt it.

You are very welcome.
To answer your questions:
1) Can be turned off with VCDS (or was it in the hidden green menu?) so I would guess it could be enabled. It's got a funny name, like "Courtesy Wipe" IIRC. Always makes me think of Mel Brooks' "History of the World" where the king calls his "**** Boy" over with the royal bucket and cautions him to "Wait for the shake!"!
2) I'm pretty sure it's in the basic MMI under "Settings" -> Windows auto-up/down (or was it central locking?). Gives an on/off choice for each door and lastly has "Auto Blind when Reversing" on mine, again IIRC (You don't think I'm actually going to walk ten paces to the driveway and find it, do you? Actually it would've been faster than typing this disclaimer).

Tstealth32: The fuel reservoir info is in the introduction to the new D3 SSP 282, page 35* (linked below). Great reading! I fact, virtually everything ever written by Audi about the D3 is here at A8parts.UK's "Tech Dump", however I still strongly advocate purchasing the Bentley disc because it's SEARCHABLE - the one search covers all TSBs, "Campaign Circulars", Updates, and sections of the workshop manual. (plus there could theoretically be some copyright issues, ahem)

"The fuel is conveyed via the filler pipe into the
right tank chamber (as viewed in direction of
travel). The fuel passes via an additional
overflow channel at the end of the filler pipe
predominantly into the right pump reservoir.
Use of the small overflow channel ensures
that even small quantities of fuel (e.g. filling
from canister) pass directly into the pump
reservoir"

dvs_dave, excellent stuff! I think the manual says after each ten washes
the headlight washers activate, but I've also found just hold the switch in "Wash" for over 3 seconds. The alternating wash function is a GREAT "egg", thanks. It perplexed me when working on the washers when I first got the car, as did the suspension pump not running til 20mph - that reservoir holds a lot of air!
Where did you find the "super-eco" mode info? That's intriguing.

Re the "super eco mode". Could this be the predecessor of the diesel emissions trick? I don't know exactly how the CAFE mileage test is performed, but it looks like it might fit.

Statute of limitations?

I came across a new feature that I didn't know about yesterday.

if you have more than the drivers window and sunroof open.

went your getring out of the car (engine off and door open) pulling up and holding the window shut button rolls up all the windows and closes the sunroof.

same can be done with the comfort access lock button on door handle.

Auto dimming rear view mirrors are disabled with any lightning profile that has the roof lights on, or the rear sunshade is up.

The heated steering wheel comes on automatically with the heated seat, but only if cabin temperature is below 65F/18C (or something like that)

The rear electric sunshade is disabled if the cabin temp is below 45F/7C.
